Sarah Alvarez is a journalist and founder of Outlier Media in Detroit, an SMS based news service designed to fill information gaps with valuable information. Before starting Outlier she worked as a lawyer and a public radio producer /reporter at Michigan Radio. She was a JSK Fellow at Stanford University in 2014.
